Hydrophonics

Hydrophonics is the brain-child of Evan Morris. As a avid watcher of the [adult swim] late night programming on Cartoon Network, he was very familiar with the "bumps" that played in between the programming and the commercials. What interested him most was the music that played along with the pictures. After scouring the internet for an answer he came across the music of J Dilla and Flying Lotus. A few downloads later, Hydrophonics immersed himself in the underground 
hip-hop culture, devouring music and finding as many new artists as he could. After a while, Hydrophonics realized that he had a talent for coming up with rhymes while listening to the instrumentals of these great producers. Beginning to write his words down instead of forgetting them soon after they were said, Hydrophonics soon realized that he had enough material to put together an informal mixtape. After showing it to friends and family and receiving positive feedback, Hydrophonics immersed himself in learning about beatmaking, producing and any subject that related to the music that he loved. Fast-forward a couple years later and we can now expect great new things from this artist including a recently released instrumental mixtape and the first full-length album coming out on 4.20 of this year.
